Adopt a Family

First Place collects Wish Lists from families we have served in the past year and that are currently in our programs. To Adopt a Family call (206) 323-6715.

Make a Gift

Donations of cash and stock are appreciated year-round.  You can make a donation online by clicking on the “donate now” button below, or mail your donation to:

Checks can be made out to First Place.
 Credit Card Donations can be called in over the phone.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  To make a credit card donation, call Lisa Foss, Annual Giving Manager at (206) 323-6715 ext. 1109.

Make a Donation In Honor of a loved one or coworker—When you make your donation, tell us the name and the address of the person you want to honor. First Place will send that person a note telling them about the gift.

What Else Can I Do?

Hold a Clothing Drive—Ask everyone you know to buy new kids clothes, underwear, socks and shoes for the First Place Clothing Bank. Items are needed year-round. You can also hold a drive for new and unopened hygiene items. Give us a call if you would like more ideas.

Adopt a Classroom

All of First Place's programs are in need of books, art supplies and even clothing.  If you would like to support a Classroom, the Library or the Clothing Bank, we can provide you with a specific wish list for each. To Adopt a Classroom or Program, call Lisa Foss, Annual Giving Manager at (206) 323-6715.

Delivery and School Breaks

Hours: We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. We will be closed December 24, 25 and January 1. From December 21 through December 31 we are open 9am to 3pm.

Delivery: Please call us at 206 323-6715 before you plan on delivery donations so we can make sure to have staff on hand to help.

First Place is not able to pick up donations at this time.
