Featuring: Marcelas Owens Eleven-year-old Marcelas Owens is a true inspiration. Last year at our Annual Fundraising Breakfast he received a standing ovation when he shared about his passion advocating for better health care after losing his mother in 2007. Since then he has advocated on a National level. His story reached President Obama through the help of Senator Patty Murray and on March 10, 2010 he spoke in front of Congress in Washington DC to share his story.
